Samsung Circle Portable Media Player

Samsung is about to launch its "Samsung Circle" : A Portable Media Player with circle shape. On the front panel there's full touch screen with a standard jack of 3.5 mm and menu button  on the edge of the player.


it is very light weighted which makes it easier for a user to carry it around and can easily fit in the pocket.


The idea behind this concept is easy and elegant. Modern industry of portable players uses square and rectangle shape players , Samsung Circle is a quite interesting and creative media player and certainly it'll rule over the market after it gets launched.

                                                                                                   

Samsung Circle has a transparent interface, on the edge there is a standard headphone jack of 3.5 mm and menu button. It will attract a thousands of users due to its shape and its nice interface.




Samsung has not launched it yet as it is trying to remodel it to make it much more better, to make it more user-friendly by including important key features like: Providing users Web-Browsing feature, ability to view all the videos, Wi-Fi etc.

Its More than Enough and Such a Great Invention :

MIT researchers has made it possible for a Blind Person to See.
Now a Blind Person can recognize Faces with a Partial eyesight
and possibly can navigate a room without assistance.


Researchers are developing a microchip (encased in titanium)
which will certainly help the blind person to recognize faces. This Microchip is encased in titanium to prevent it from water damage.


This chip will be implanted onto a blind person's eyeball. patient is required to wear special glasses fitted with a small camera.


Technology behind this concept is that "small camera will transmit images to titanium-encased chip which further will fire an electrode array to the retina and it will simulate the optic nerve.

Tech wrap: Apple teases “Mountain Lion”

Apple released details on the successor to its “Lion” operating system for Mac computers, due out late this summer. OS X 10.8, dubbed “Mountain Lion,” will inherit features already running on iPhones and iPads such as iMessage, Notification Center and AirPlay mirroring, according to an Apple press release. Game Center will give Mac users the opportunity to square off against gamers on iOS devices as well as other Mac users. A new feature called “Gatekeeper” is meant to give OS X users more control over what apps can be downloaded onto their Macs, further distinguishing Apple-approved apps from third-party ones. The plan to introduce more iOS functions to Apple’s desktop and laptop OS comes as Microsoft prepares to make its desktop applications more mobile with a rumored fall release of Windows 8.

IBM To Build Next-Gen Microchips Using DNA

As chipmakers compete to develop ever-smaller chips at cheaper prices, designers are struggling to cut costs.

For years, chipmakers have been constantly making smaller and smaller chips, which are used in computers, cell phones and other electronic devices, but packing it with more speed, reducing the cost, while at the same time trying to lower power consumption.

Scientists working with the IBM research centre are experimenting with DNA molecules, the basic building block of life, to build next-generation microchips, which will be smaller but more powerful than the ones existing today. 

Scientists at IBM's Almaden Research Center have teamed up with California Institute of Technology to make scientific advancement that could be a major breakthrough in enabling the semiconductor industry to pack more power and speed into tiny computer chips, while making them more energy efficient and less expensive to manufacture.

If IBM succeeds to use DNA in development of next-gen microchips, it would be a major breakthrough in semiconductor industry, DNA wouldn't just control human evolution but also computing evolution.
